Raised in Stockton in the same neighborhood as our Stockton office, Dr. Janice Liao brings deep community roots to her work. She earned her B.S. in Physiological Science from UCLA and her Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University before completing a year-long General Practice Residency at University Medical Center in Fresno.

After practicing in Stockton and Tracy, Dr. Liao made Dublin her home base, where she has cared for families of all ages for decades. She takes pride in building long-term relationships and creating a welcoming, personalized experience for every patient.

Born in Taiwan and raised in Dallas, Dr. George Shiao blends diverse life experiences with a passion for patient-centered dentistry. He earned dual degrees in History and Biology from Washington University in St. Louis, followed by his Doctorate of Dental Medicine from Temple University. Dr. Shiao speaks Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese.

He has served in private practice on the East Coast, taught as a clinical instructor at Temple, and provided comprehensive care for special needs patients at Special Smiles in Philadelphia. After moving to California and marrying Dr. Liao in 2004, he continued advancing his skills and currently serves as clinical faculty at the University of the Pacific School of Dentistry. Dr. Shiao looks forward to caring for your family with compassion and expertise.

Dr. Ishdeep Kaur earned her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from UCLA after completing her Bachelor of Dental Surgery at Panjab University in India. Her training spans academic, community health, and private practice settings, giving her a well-rounded approach to comprehensive dental care. She provides a wide range of preventive and restorative treatments, including crowns, same-day CAD/CAM dentistry, dentures, and extractions.

Dr. Kaur is known for her thoughtful, patient-centered communication and collaborative approach to treatment planning, helping patients feel informed and at ease. Fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, she enjoys connecting with patients from diverse backgrounds. Outside the office, Dr. Kaur values lifelong learning, community involvement, and staying current with modern dental technology. She looks forward to building lasting relationships with the families she serves at Smiles Collective.
